Are there reasonable places to eat nearby?
•Yes, there are eating places only a few blocks from the Hyatt. In addition, the hotel has an area called decafe where breakfast and lunch items may be purchased for a reasonable amount.
Is parking available other than at the Hyatt?
•Yes, there are several all day parking garages nearby. However, the Hyatt has reduced normal valet rate to $18.
Will there be transportation available from the airports?
•SuperShuttle is offering a discounted rate to attendees who purchase tickets online or by calling (800) BLUE VAN. Enter discount code GXSK3. Discounted one way service from Houston Hobby is $18. Discounted one way service from Bush International is $23.
•Taxis are available at each airport. From Bush International approximately $35 - $40. From Hobby Airport approximately $13- $20.
Is there other transportation?
•METRO Airport Direct - This service will take visitors from Bush Intercontinental Airport Terminal C to Downtown Houston for $30 roundtrip.
•METRO Rail - This is a fast and convenient way to travel between downtown and other Houston areas. METRO Rail is only two blocks from the hotel.
•METRO Bus - This local Service runs mostly on city streets and stops at every other corner along its route. One-way fare is just $1 or you may purchase a $2 Day Pass that gives you unlimited use of Local Service for 24 hours from the time of purchase.
•Amtrak – The station is located 14 blocks from the hotel and is accessible via METRO Bus or taxi.
•Complimentary Shuttle to Downtown – The hotel operates a courtesy shuttle between the hotel and downtown office buildings in the morning and afternoon. Seating is based upon space availability. Please speak to the Concierge for more information.
•Galleria Shuttle – The hotel will provide transportation to the Galleria. Roundtrip cost is $12.
•Town Car Service – Service is available through the Concierge. Advanced reservations are recommended and a nominal fee may be assessed based on your destination.
What about entertainment for families visiting Houston?
•Houston City Pass – Purchase this entertainment book and choose from six popular attractions at almost 50% off regular price.
